Mind Matters, Inc. is the way to a less painful life for struggling students.

Our program is a multi-sensory, computer-interactive, therapeutic approach that helps students with special needs to become efficient learners. The multi-sensory approach used in our Learning Labs is referred to as Sensory Integrated Training. It's designed to produce learning that is automatic, as opposed to cognitive, which helps students take advantage of immediate feedback.

This program stimulates the brain in a sensory mode, asks for recall of information from memory using a second sensory mode, and then asks for a response using a third sensory mode. This type of interactive learning process provides consistent use of the connections between all modalities. Connections are the basis for memory retention of any skills.

Like most solutions to difficult problems, there is a high level of commitment required. Our programs are very successful because of our emphasis on working as a team with the student, the parent (if appropriate) and the Learning Lab staff.

The First Step
The first step toward success is to schedule an evaluation that consists of three standardized, culturally fair tests that will help determine if Mind Matters is the solution for you or your child. These tests also help us to develop each individual's optimal plan.
